Mowag GW 3500 (Built 1956)
Between 1950 an 1963 the Mowag was used by the Swiss Army. It was produced in over 1500 units in different variants.
It was later replaced by the Pinzgauer and finally by the Bucher Duro.
On 8 September 1993, the Centurion Club acquired the Mowag M+53599 delivery van from the Swiss Army ex AMP Grolley – the Mowag, our workhorse. There is hardly an occasion when it is not heavily loaded for deployment. It was also given a complete wellness treatment. Thanks to the expert work of our board member Martin Götschi, the Mowag will hopefully continue to provide us with its services for many years to come.
