Bridge Tank (Brü Pz) 68/88
Construction of the prototype based on the Pz 61 tank began in 1965. It was first presented as a prototype in 1967. However, it was not until 1972 that the Federal Council authorised the funds for its construction, which was now built on the chassis of the 68 tank.
A total of 30 tanks were produced and later on upgraded to the AA6 standard.
The Bridge Tank M+77900 was taken over at the end of September 2012 and is housed in Altstaetten.
